Park Festival in front of the County CourthouseAbout the Warsaw and Winona Lake, Indiana Area

Antique cars stopping to enjoy the Artisan District |
Located in the Northern Indiana lakes region along the historic
Lincoln Highway, Warsaw was twice named as one of the "Top 100 Small Towns
in America". Warsaw & Winona Lake are adjacent to each other with a
population of approximately 24,000. Our motto is "Live, Work and Play."
High-tech clean-air industry plus strong agriculture regions contribute to the
strong economic atmosphere we enjoy. On the cutting edge of technology, Warsaw
is the "Orthopedic Manufacturing Capital of the World." Host to the largest
printing presses in the world, the world's largest manufacture of projection
screens and home of the famous CoCo Wheats breakfast cereal. Yet despite its
industrial diversity and manufacturing excellence, Warsaw is surrounded by one
of the strongest agricultural economies in the state of Indiana.

Cinco de Mayo Festival |
Our adjacent neighbor, the town of Winona Lake is situated
Winona Lake lakefront and undergoing massive restoration of turn-of-century
buildings. Known as the "Village at Winona", this multi shop Artisan District
offers an array of artwork, pottery, famous Warsaw Cut Glass and gourmet
delights from the French Deli to Sweet Dreams Ice Cream Shop. New waterfront
restaurant scheduled to open soon providing customer boat dock
parking.
Recreation areas abound in Warsaw and Kosciusko
County
with over 100 lakes, ranging from the state's largest to the
state's deepest! Warsaw itself has three lakes (Winona, Center & Pike)
within the corporate limits, offering every form of water sports.
The Popular Wagon Wheel Playhouse |
The new CCAC - City County Athletic Complex, is located on the
West Side of Warsaw where over 3,000 softball and soccer games are played each
year. Our Park Dept. offers an array of beautiful parks and beaches.
Construction of our new Million Dollars plus Bicycle Path is scheduled to begin
soon, with completion early 2001, connecting many recreation sites and other
points of interests. The Wagon Wheel Playhouse, a theatre in the round, hosts
concerts and plays throughout the year. In addition, our new Center Lake Park
hosts various music festivals with nationally know recording stars performing.
Golf or Tennis is popular throughout the area, Warsaw Racquet Club offers
traveling tennis and racquetball leagues and more than 20 golf courses are
located within 45 minutes of Warsaw.
Curb Appeal >An Attractive Approach
First impressions count! Do you remember your first impressions of your present home? What made you want to buy it? The features or amenities that first attracted you are probably the same ones that will sell your home.
Prospective buyers' first impression of your home is the feeling they get when approaching your property. Each home has its own unique features--trees and shrubs which soften structural lines, unusual architectural features, such as bay windows, or a beautifully landscaped entrance. Whether your home is modern or elegant traditional, the approach to your home makes a statement. Since most buyers are looking for a home that has both charm and class, it pays to keep your grounds well-maintained and attractive. If the exterior appearance of your home and yard is pleasing, buyers will want to see the interior.
