Both Warsaw and Winona Lake each border the shores of Winona Lake. Our area lakes offer a diverse choice of activities. While some of our popular fishing lakes are limited to 10 MPH, many other lakes offer skiing and full boating pleasures, all offer the best fishing and boating Indiana has to offer! Barbee Chain of Lakes This popular Chain of 7 Lakes contains over 700 acres of water and located just a short distance northeast of Warsaw, right off SR 13. The chain consists of Big Barbee (278 acres), Little Barbee (69 acres), Irish (143 acres), Sechrist (99 acres), Sawmill (27 acres), Banning (5 acres), and Kuhn (118 acres). Big Barbee is the only lake that allows skiing, while the others have a speed limit of 10 MPH. The public access sites are located on the east bank of Grassy Creek, the south side of CR 500 S, east of Flowing Well Drive, and Rolling Ridge Road. The best fishing for these lakes consists of bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, perch, and redear.

Beaver Dam Lake Located southwest of Warsaw, this lake's 147 acres offer fishing, sailing, and boating under 10 MPH at all times, with skiing and general boating allowed between 1 and 4 P.M. With 147 acres of water, the best fishing includes bluegill, crappie, largemouth bass, and longear sunfish. The public access site is located on Silveus Road.

Four blocks north from downtown Warsaw, Center Lake's 120 acres are available for fishing, sailing, and boating. No skiing is allowed on the lake, as maximum speed limit is 10 MPH. This lake offers a public beach, park, pier, diving boards, seasonal life guarding and concession stand. Adjacent to the lake is the Warsaw Biblical Gardens and Warsaw's own Central Park. You can visit www.warsawbiblicalgardens.org for more information on the gardens. The public access site for the lake is located right off of N. Buffalo Street. Chapman Lakes Big and Little Chapman Lakes, located northeast of Warsaw, combined make up 534 acres. The public access sites are on Chapman Lake Drive and EMS C14. Big Chapman is a skiing lake, while Little Chapman has a speed limit of 10 MPH. For information on the Chapman Lakes Conservation Association, visit www.chapmanlake.com. The best fishing for these lakes consists of bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, longear, northern pike, redear, walleye, and yellow perch.

Dewart Lake Located northeast of Warsaw, Dewart Lake offers over 550 acres of skiing, fishing, sailing, and general boating. The public access site is located on CR 300 East. The best fishing includes black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, redear, and yellow perch.

Located southwest of Warsaw, this lake offers approximately 100 acres of water. Sailing, fishing, and boating under 10 MPH are allowed at all times. The public access site is located at High Street. With 180 acres, this lake is located west of Warsaw in Etna Green. Hoffman Lake has a 10 MPH speed limit, and offers sailing and fishing. The best fishing consists of bluegill, largemouth bass, longear sunfish, pumpkinseed, rock bass, white bass, white crappie, and yellow perch. Palestine Lake Located southwest of Warsaw with 290 acres of water, this lake offers boating under 10 MPH and fishing. The public access site is located on Miami Street & First Street. The best fishing is crappie, largemouth bass, and yellow perch.

Located within the city limits of Warsaw, approximately 6 blocks from downtown, Pike Lake offers sailing, fishing, and boating under 10 MPH. A public beach, park, pier, and diving boards are located right off the lake with seasonal life guarding and camping. With 230 acres, the best fishing for the lake consists of black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, longear sunfish, and yellow perch. Silver Lake Located 12 miles south of Warsaw, in the town of Silver Lake, this lake offers sailing, fishing, and boating under 10 MPH. See Fish Story Below!

Syracuse Lake Located just north of Lake Wawasee, Syracuse Lake's 414 acres offer sailing, fishing, and boating under 10 MPH. Connected to Syracuse Lake is Boner Lake, with 40 acres of water. The public access site is located on Medusa Street and North Front Court. The best fishing for the lakes consists of bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, northern pike, and redear.

Tippecanoe Lake Tippecanoe Lake, located northeast of Warsaw in Leesburg, offers 768 acres, but combined with its two adjacent lakes, Little Tippecanoe and Oswego, it offers 1,133 acres. Tippecanoe is one of the deepest lakes in Indiana ? with its deepest point being over 120 feet. The public access site is located on Brown Road in Leesburg. Beautiful Tippecanoe Lake Country Club overlooks the lake, and offers golf, tennis, swimming, dining, and other activities. The best fishing for this lake includes black crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, redear, rock bass, warmouth, and yellow perch. 
Wawasee Lake Lake Wawasee, Indiana's largest natural lake is over 3,000 acres of water. Located northeast of Warsaw in Syracuse, Lake Wawasee offers skiing, sailing, fishing, and general boating. The public access sites are located on Hatchery Road and CR 1000 North. Webster Lake Located northeast of Warsaw off of SR 13 in North Webster, Webster Lake offers skiing, sailing, fishing, and general boating. The public access for the lake is located at the intersection of Backwater Road and W 22. With 585 acres, the best fishing for the lake includes black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, muskie, pumkinseed, red ear, and yellow perch.

The lake is bordered by both Warsaw city limits and the Town of Winona Lake and offers approximately 575 acres for skiing, sailing, fishing, and general boating. A public access site is located off of Smith Street on Hillside Drive in Warsaw. Winona Lake allows fishing, sailing, skiing and general boating.

Yellow Creek Lake Located southwest of Warsaw, these two lakes combined offer over 200 acres of water. Sailing, fishing, and boating under 10 MPH are allowed at all times, while skiing and general boating are allowed between 1 and 4 P.M. The public access site is located at High Street. The best fishing consists of bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, and yellow perch.
